Most people who want more even lip colour, definition or a fuller-looking shape are good candidates. Lip blush suits a wide range of skin tones, and lip neutralisation is available for dark or cool-toned lips. Suitability is confirmed at your consultation.
Results typically last one to three years depending on your skin, lifestyle and aftercare. Colour softens gradually over time and can be refreshed with a touch-up appointment.
Discomfort is generally mild. A numbing cream is applied before and during treatment to keep you as comfortable as possible.
Most clients describe a light scratching sensation rather than pain. The lips are numbed throughout, and Bola works gradually, checking your comfort at each stage.
Initial healing takes around a week, with peeling or flaking in the first four to seven days. Colour softens and settles over four to six weeks, and a touch-up can be carried out from six to eight weeks.
Avoid lip makeup while the lips are healing, usually for the first week to ten days. Once the skin has fully healed you can wear lip products as normal.
